Born in the wilds of deepest, darkest Coffs Harbour, Toby was soon disowned by his parents for being too indolent and took up accommodation with a one-legged water rat and a schizophrenic chimpanzee in a fibro-shanty next to a banana tree and an old retirement complex. Bored with only ever eating bananas and annoyed by the constant nostalgic ramblings of attention deprived old people, he ran away to live with a transvestite Lachrymologist named Harry-Lou Sass and his boyfriend, a stick of salami named Pierce Mananus.
