I'm a student of Glass at the Canberra School of Art.
At the moment I'm exploring the concept of cities, what it is that people love and hate about them, why I love the city, why I'm so drawn to it. I'm doing a series of window panels that are fused in a kiln, different layers of colours of glass, fused together.
They're made to be displayed in windows, to get the light shining through the back of them, so you can really see the different colour mixing and the depth of the different pieces of glass.
I love the way that light shines thorough glass - you get beautiful patterns and reflections on furniture, and the textures and patterns are being reflected onto other surfaces.
At my house, there are glass pieces everywhere. I've got a window panel and there are goblets and things like that. We've got a couple of cats so a lot of pieces get knocked off.
