In my work I attempt to find a balance between the social, environmental and aesthetic responsibilities of design while responding to functional requirements. I believe designers should take affordability into account by creating products that are efficient in their use of material and manufacturing time. I also believe that transport, shipping and packaging should be taken into account in the design stage. My works attempt to demonstrate the inherent beauty of their raw materials, while solving functional requirements in a sculptural and expressive form.
