Predominantly 2D artwork by Laura is � drawn, painted, sprayed, stuck and found. Works have a cross disciplinary and fluid nature mixing across all media. Pictures appear like that of gleaning, - collecting and drawing on odd leftovers, old books, magazines and recycled pictures. Combinations of people, animals, and plants create bizarre hybrid like creatures and stories, for example feathered wings growing out of boys trying to fly. Ideas stem from traveling adventures, surviving as in the essentials- eating, pooing, and from interests in Buddhism, sustainability, home cooking with herbs and culture.
