As a toddler I would apparently ask my dad for a rubber and ruler, whereupon he would produce pencil and paper and I would create marvellous artworks for his pleasure. Image-making is still a source of great satisfaction for me. At present I am finishing off a masters in children's literature. In this realm, picture books have most fascinated me because of their marriage of words and images. So here's a selection of the results of my favourite activity.
