The work "Mirror Image" reflects personal and social issues of stereotypes and image. It symbolises the conection between what we see and what is actually there. My artwork is influenced by Willem de Kooning's 'Woman V' . His depictions of women through the ages + exploration of the female image revealing identity, and stereotypical issues are highly significant. It represents 'to face judgement'. characterizing our opinions of what is right and wrong. |
