dEadly mOb is ALL ABOUT creating online opportunities for Indigenous young people anywhere in Australia. dEadly mOb assists young people skill up to participate in community development using Information and Communications Technology. The content displayed here has been created by young Indigenous people either as a part of activities in the Deadly Mob Internet Cafe in Alice Springs or during the Deadly Mob .
The Deadly Mob Youth Out Bush Tour aims to raise awareness about online communications in the remote communities of Central Australia. The aims of the project are to provide content creation activities to demonstrate the various uses of digital media and build awareness of the Internet. When on the road we'll be:
-Talking about the Internet
-Showing people websites & online resources
-Making pictures, video and photographs.
-Working on the 'Dead Mice' Project - painting old computer mice.
-Asking young people about forming an IT Youth Council.
