Am I supposed to justify myself to you by citing experiences with the unreliability of the postal service?
This isn't about using my imagination to picture the thousands of submissions. It's just a query regarding notification of receipt. And given that you're unable to confirm this, I'm baffled as to why you're even chiming in.
Don't mean to sound rude, or anything, of course.

All the words submissions have been looked over, and a short list has been compiled for the book now I think.
