artists allowance?

i rekon there should be an allowance that artists can receive for a period of time that allows us to have a go at persuing our ideal 'career path' - as opposed to being on the dole and having to fill in a diary and go to pointless meetings... the fact is, we've chosen NOT to have day jobs so that we can persue our art (in my case, music). I'm NOT not working - I just don't get paid enough to survive!!

Apparantly in New Zealand there is a new form of the dole that is exactly what you describe, an artist's allowance that supports full time creative practice. Right on! Until the day our government wakes up and does the same our artists will continue to have to live on two minute noodles... :(

you guys have got it better than i cause im doin my TEE and constantly have beats and melodys flying thru my head, even during tests.
