I was just wonderin where I could find some info on the copyright requirements of noise. In the book I got it said to refer to the website, but I can't seem to find ne thing about it. Help!!

Hi Lindy, generally speaking noise is about exhibiting new works where the artist is the original creator (and there are no copyright issues). For some special projects like REMIX we get copyright permission from the musicians for their works to be re-worked by someone else. If you wish to use someone else's work then you need to have permission from that person to do so - just as you would with any other creative work that was being publicly exhibited! Ok then having said that, if for example I created a montage of images and included some of the images that came with my computer, or used a picture tube in a program, how do I make reference to these images?

Just to be safe, I think you should be able to trace back the sources of those images in the montage and refer to those sources when you submit your work....
