: QANTAS SPIRIT OF YOUTH AWARDS :
We invite all young filmmakers and animators (aged 25 and under) to submit their made-for-screen creations. We are after anything and everything that can be shown on screens large or small - including short films, documentaries, any type of animation, audio-visual creations and curious experimental works.
: INCENTIVE :
The winner of this category will receive a $5000 cash grant, $5000 worth of travel and mentoring by a creative industry professional.
: TO SUBMIT :
You can submit any made-for-screen work of up to 15 minutes in length. The director of the work must be 25 or under.
Fill in the submission form attached below and send us your work on VHS PAL video or CD for preview. Please do not send your only copies as submissions will not be returned. If your work is selected we will also need a broadcast quality copy (SP Betacam, Digital Betacam or DV format). Please ensure that you have permission to use all music or visuals featured in your production.
To help us processs your work more effectively, please indicate the submission category on your envelope. If submitting to more than one category, please use seperate submission forms and envelopes.
Alternatively, you can submit online by going to the Noise homepage and selecting your desired category. (ie. Moving Pictures) Register, upload a passport size portrait image and simply follow the instructions to attach your work.
