noise is currently looking to commission three collaborative works for publication in a special edition noise book that will be released nationwide in October this year.
We're after groups of two or more people to produce works that demonstrate a creative use of words and pictures combined. This could involve producing a comic or other illustrated story where one person writes the words and another draws the pictures, it could be a collaborative photo story, a written/pictorial documentation of your life - anything goes and the more original and creative your idea the better. Three groups will be given $1000 to do their project.
To quality all members of your group have to be Australian citizens or permanent residents aged 25 or under. The end result has to be able to be published in print format (in either black and white or colour) over no more than 8 pages. If your project is commissioned you'll have to have it all finished by mid-July.
To apply just write a brief outline of your idea and include some information about the people involved and how you'd do it. Email it to ambercarvan@iprimus.com.au by 22 June.
