EXPOSE -> Your FLASH works

FUNDING -> In partnership with the great people at the South Australian Film Corporation, noise will commission six young artists (aged 25 or under) in South Australia to create new media works using FLASH or SHOCKWAVE.

You can get up to $5,000 to make a FLASH or SHOCKWAVE work of your choosing as well as getting help from an experienced new media practitioner.

1 Must FLASH be used by all entrants or can 3D animation also be used? Must the final product be able to be played on a FLASH player, or on any media player?

Answer: 

The initiative is for the development of online and broadcast animation using streaming vectors. These will be created using tools such as flash, live motion, etc.

You could propose that you were going to do a 3D animation but you would have to make sure that it could be delivered as a streaming animation over the web that can be played back using the Flash plug-in.

There are programs available for created 3D flash animations, such as http://www.swift3d.com/
